Great Gloves
I love these gloves. They are very well made and fit great and are comfortable to wear. I work on the flightline at the 177th Fighter Wing in NJ and on the coldest days my hands stay warm and dry. I also have a pair of their non winter weight gloves which are also fantastic.

Waterproof Technology
Youngstown's waterproof technology separates this glove from other winter gloves. Numerous winter gloves in the market are simply "lined" but do not offer a moisture barrier membrane. Lined gloves are fine in dry conditions, but once precipitation is present, lined gloves lose their effectiveness--once your hand is wet it gets cold much sooner.
The Waterproof Winter Plus gloves feature a membrane that's waterproof, windproof, and breathable. This specialized membrane blocks the water from reaching your hand, keeping your hands warm and dry. At the same time, the membrane allows for your sweat to escape to help regulate comfort and temperature inside the glove.
Dual Functionality
Youngstown's focus has always been in the performance work glove realm, and its gloves are built to be as durable as possible while still maintaining dexterity and comfort. A Note On Warmth
Temperature is subjective from person to person, and Youngstown have had users comment that their gloves didn't keep their hands warm and others say the glove was too hot. Sizing Your Glove
Use a cloth tape measure on the hand you use the most, and measure from crook between your thumb and index finger straight across to the base of the pinky and then all the way around back to where you started. Based on the circumference of your palm (excluding the thumb), here's a general guideline to sizing:
Small: 8.0 to 8.5 inches
Medium: 8.5 to 9.0 inches
Large: 9.0 to 9.5 inches
Extra Large: 9.5 to 10.0 inches
Double Extra Large: 10.0 to 10.5 inches

Good Buy
Protects hands well from cold and wind; haven't used them during wet weather yet. The one issue I have with them thus far is as your hands sweat, if you need to pull the glove off for some reason, the inside lining comes out of the glove as you pull your hand out. Might not sound too bad, but when you are trying to get the glove back on, it's annoying - especially in cold weather. Top to learn more

Good looking, waterproof, but a bit narrow in fingers
The gloves are waterproof (also after much contact with snow and water), have a good grip and are easy to put on. On the negative side, the room for fingers is too narrow (but not too short). would recomend the gloves, unless you have large hands. Top to learn more

Best. Shoe. EVER! Can I give more than 5 stars??
Let me first start off by saying that I have very normal, boring feet. No funny shapes, not wide, no bunyons, no oddly shaped toes, etc. They tend to be very forgiving. I was looking for a shoe I could trail run and hike in. I have run in normal Merrell trail shoes (more like a beefy hiking shoe) and felt like the arch was way too high, and heavy. I have also run in my Asics 2160s and they work fine, but got soaked and muddy in the Washington winter mud. I'm a fan of minimal shoes and own several pairs of Fivefingers. I love them but I don't love it when they are covered in mud and fill with murky, muddy water. In essence, I was looking for something minimalist (4mm heel drop or less) and waterproof.Now enter Embarks. Wow. Amazing. They fit my foot like a...uh....glove. I will say that I plan on using socks with them. Not because the interior is uncomfortable, but because I am not a fan of sweaty, smelly feet. My husband loved them
I don't have many specific words for these, other than my husband loved them - he hasnt mentioned any complaints and uses them primarily for gym/workout purposes. They are definitely lightweight compared to most shoes. he's been using them for about 3 months now, so typically I would have heard something by now if he didn't care for them! Merrell Embark Trail Running Shoe
I have terrible ankles, so i have been experimenting with various 'barefoot' shoes to eliminate an elevated heel, improve my gait, and hopefully create a more natural 'foot strike' when walking. These are good, but much stiffer than my other Merrell Run Barefoot shoes ([...]).If you want comfort, get the Runs ;), but watch out for walking on rocks if you have tender feet ... not much padding!
